To conserve and utilize unique objects such as our first project the Ile Ola as well as the skills of culture and initiate and involve through community programs the passage of such skills in the conservation of these items. Through these hands on programs we hope to promote an appreciation of, and connection with, conservation to a younger generation and providing meaningful interaction for an older one .
Then to use these icons to better connect the various like minded community conservation and cultural groups along our voyage. To provide their members with the opportunity for personal interaction and first hand experience of the issues they are working with.
This naturally will be have particular application to those who have little or no access to a physical connection with their particular issue or interest or others working in the same or similar field. As well as providing a media platform through which they might reach a broader public arena.
To provide our membership with the ability to directly involve themselves in the execution of actions and to report on and bring public awareness to critical environmental and cultural heritage issues, and to initiate and inspire a renewed sense of dedication and urgency to the conservation of the health of the planet.
Through the various Campaigns we will initiate public involvement and interaction will be achieved through the overall the ethos of our group which is conservation at all levels. From preserving important historical artifacts and bringing them back into use (such as Ile Ola), to global issues such as the degradation of our reefs, the loss of the Apex predators in the ocean, or the global threat to life in the form of plastics.
