If you're a regular boatie in the Cairns region, you will have noticed the distinctive yellow Coast Guard vessels operating in our area.
Did you realise that these vessels are crewed entirely by volunteers and funded almost entirely by the efforts of the on-land and on-water crews of Coast Guard Cairns.
Coast Guard Cairns operates two fully equipped vessels:

Coast Guard 6 (Tom Farrugia)

Crews are First Aid trained and crews and vessels are on 24 hour standby 7 days a week.
